Developed with elite players – anatomy first

The proportions and shapes of female and male bodies differ significantly, and in a fast-paced contact sport like hockey, the right fit makes a huge difference. The CCM FTW series addresses traditional challenges by focusing on three critical areas:

Chest and shoulders: Traditional shoulder pads either press against the chest or ride up toward the ears in a playing stance because they aren't designed for a woman's shape or narrower shoulder line. The FTW shoulder pads feature a completely new, adjustable, multi-piece construction that adapts individually and fits snugly without sacrificing protection.
Hips and waist: The ratio between a woman's hips and waist requires a completely different cut for pants compared to men's models. FTW pants offer optimal protection with a fit that allows for wide, explosive skating strides without the pants shifting or feeling heavy.
Limb proportions: Arm and shin guards have been tapered and anatomically shaped to stay firmly in place on slimmer limbs, ensuring they don't rotate upon impact.
