Product availability and stock quantities in our different stores are shown in the list on the right-hand side of the product page. On newer, updated product pages, availability can be viewed by clicking the green “In stock” text.

However, we cannot guarantee that this information is accurate in all situations. The online store shopping cart does not reserve products, so the stock level does not change when a product is added to a cart. Since the same products are sold both online and in our physical stores, it is possible that the last item has just been purchased in a store and the stock information has not yet been updated in the online store.

At times, products may also be temporarily out of stock due to production-related reasons. In such cases, it may still be possible to place an order in the online store even though the product is actually out of stock.

We reserve the right to cancel an order if the stock level was incorrect at the time the order was placed and the product is unavailable. The customer is not entitled to claim compensation in such cases.

If an ordered product is temporarily out of stock, we will make every effort to inform the customer as soon as we become aware of the situation.

Delivery time within Finland is typically 2–5 business days from the time the order is dispatched, provided the product is available in our stores. If the delivery time is longer than expected, we will contact the customer.

Events beyond the seller’s control—such as strikes, lockouts, fires, equipment failure, shortages of raw materials, actions by authorities, or other force majeure circumstances—may affect delivery times and release the seller from the agreed delivery schedule.

If the product is a made-to-order item or not currently in stock, please contact our online store customer service regarding delivery time inquiries at myynti@hockeybase.fi.

For EU orders, the average delivery time is 3–5 business days from dispatch.
For orders outside the EU, delivery typically takes 7–10 business days from dispatch, depending on the destination country.

Shipping fees for international orders depend on the destination country. Available delivery options and prices will be shown at checkout when finalizing your order.

Orders shipped abroad to companies, organizations, and associations, as well as to consumers outside the EU, are VAT‑exempt.

‍

For deliveries outside the EU, the recipient is responsible for any applicable taxes, customs duties, and other fees charged upon receipt of the goods.

If your customer details do not include an email address, or if your email address has changed, please send an email to myynti@hockeybase.fi and we will update your customer information with the correct email address.

Please include your full name, street address, and customer number if available.
You can find your customer number, for example, on your receipt.

"Blackstone" refers to the premium skate sharpening technology offered at Hockey Base stores. Unlike traditional "hollow" sharpening, the Blackstone Flat Bottom V (FBV) method creates a shape that maximizes both speed and grip. It creates a flat bottom on the blade for superior glide while maintaining sharp edges for tight turns and stops.

The Hockey Base Training Center (located in Vantaa) is a specialized facility designed for off-ice skill development. It features synthetic ice lanes where players can practice shooting and stickhandling year-round. The center offers professional coaching, video analysis, and camps to help players improve their technique outside of team practices.

Hockey Base is a specialized Finnish ice hockey retail chain dedicated entirely to the sport. Unlike general sporting goods stores, we focuse on providing expert-level service, professional equipment fitting, and a comprehensive selection of gear for players of all levels, from beginners to professionals.
